እዚ ኩሉ ሸበድበድ እንታይ‘ከ ደሊኽን

መርዓ ጓልክን‘ድዩ መርዓ ወድኽን

መርዓ ትቋጸራ ሓዘን ናይ ደቅኽን

ቍሩብ ዘይትሓስባ ንህዝብኽን

መመሊሱ ዝቕጽል ጌጋኽን።

                ዘርእና ጠፊኡ ንሳተን ይዘላ

                ለይቲ ምስ መዓልቲ ምስ ተኸላ ጓይላ

                ጥዕና ዘየብለን ኩለን ዝዘንበላ

                ኢሳያስ ክነብር ዝምህለላ

                ዕድመ እንተደፊአን ዝጽለላ

                ኢሳያስ ዘየብላ ሃገርስ ትጥፋእ ዝብላ።

እገርመኒ ከመይ ከም ዝተፈጥራ

ባሩኳ ተሰዂዐን ከይሓፈራ

ኣብ ቲቪ ክወጻ ዘዕገርግራ

ምእንቲ ክኾና ሕሉፋት ኤርትራ

ጽቡቕ ኣሎ ዝብላ ንመከራ

ጐበዝ ተሳኢኑ ንሬሳ ዝቐብራ

ሓሶት ይጭርሓ ከይሓፈራ።

                ዘይኣኽለን ጓይላ ምስ ጸወታ

                ሓጎስን ሓዘንን ብእልልታ

                ወላዲት ትነብር ብሃንቀውታ

                ካብ ዘለዋ ይበዝሓ ዝሞታ

ብዕለት 15-11-2015 ሓው ተስፋኣለም ኣርኣያ ኣባል ኤምዲሰመ ኣብ መስኮት ሓርነት ብዛዕባ ‘’ህንጸት ዲሞክራሲ ኣብ ኤርትራ’’ ዝብል ኣርእስቲ ሕዙ፣ ነቲ ብዛዕባ እዚ እነልዕሎ ዘሎና ኣርእስቲ በዘን ውሑዳት ሰዓታት ኣብዚ መስኮት እዚ ተረኺበ ክገልጽን ኣብ ምሉእ ምርድዳእ ክንበጽሕን ዘድሃበ ዘይኮነስ እንታይ ደኣ መባእታዊ ፍልጠት ክንውንን ዕለት ብዕለት ክንዛተየሉ ስለዘሎና ነታ ብውልቀ መላኺ ትግዛእ ዘላ ሃገርና ጽባሕ እንኽተሎ ናይ ህዝባዊ ስርዓት ክንቅርበሉ ዝኣመተ እዩ።

ዲሞክራሲ  እትብል ቃል ካብ ቋንቋ ግርኽ ዝመንጨወ ኮይኑ ትሩሙ ድማ ስልጣን ናይ ህዝቢ ክኸውን ከሎ ደቂ-ሰባት ብሓባር ክነብሩ ካብ ዝጀመሩ ክጥቀሙላ ዝፈተኑን ጌና እውን ዝፍትኑ ዘለዉ፡ ማለት ኣብ መስርሕ ናይ ምትርጓሙ ዝርከቡን ዝተፈኣለየ መግለጽን ብሽም ዲሞክራሲ ከኣ ዝተፈላለዩ ኣገጋባብ ምምሕዳር ወይ ስልጣን ምጭባጥ ርኢናን ንሕና ኣውን ከም ህዝቢ ናብኡ ንምብጻሕ እንቃለስ ዘሎና እና።

ስለዚ ብዙሓት ፍላስፋታት ብዛዕባ ዲሞክራሲ ጽሒፎም ጌና ይጽሕፉን ይማጎቱን ይዛተዩን ሓሳብ ንሓሳብ የነጽጽሩን ኣለዉ። ክቕጽሉ እውን እዮም። ንሕና እውን ደምበ ፍትሕን ዲሞክራስን ኩሉ ግዜ ብዛዕባ ዲሞክራሲ ዘለና ፍልጠት ዝተመዓራረየዶ እዩ? ንዝብል ሕቶ መልሱ እሱ ነይሩ እንተዝኸውን ከምዚ ዘለናዮ መልክዕ ኣይምሃሎናን ዝብል እዩ ዝስዕብ። ምስክርነቱ ከኣ ሓቢርካ ዘይምስራሕን ኣብ ናይ ሰፊሕ ሃገራዊ ጽላል ንምብጻሕ ዘይምብቃዕና ዝሕብር ምልክት እዩ። እምበኣርከስ እስከ ብዛዕባ ዲሞክራስን የዕንዱን ክንዛተ ንፈትን። ከም ኣርእስቲ ኣብ ክልተ ክመቕሎ ክፍትን እየ። ይብል ሓው ተስፋኣለም።

1)     ዲሞክራሲ እንታይ እዩ ዝብል ሎሚ ከቕርቦ እየ።

2)    እቲ ካልኣይ ድማ ኣየኖት እዮም የዕኑድ ዲሞክራሲ ዝብል ከኣ ኣብ ዝመጽእ ከቕርቦ ክፍትን እየ።

እምበኣርከስ ሎሚ እቲ መሰረታዊ  ዲሞክራሲ እንታይ እዩ? ዝብል ብሕጽር ዝበለ ንምምላስ ከም ኣርእስቲ ሰፊሕን ካብ ጥንቲ ዝመጸን ጌና እውን ዓለምና በቢወገኑ እትጥቀመሉ ዘላ ስለዝኾነ ከምቲ ኣቕዲመ ዝጠቐስክዎ በብዓይነቱ መጻሕፍቲ ዝተጻሕፈን ጌና እውን ዝጸሓፍ ስለዘሎ ካብ ዘተ ናብ ዘተ ዝሰጋገር ዘይነጽፍ ስነሓሳብ ዝውሕዝ ስለዝኾነ ንሕና ሎሚ ምሸት ክንትንክፎ ድኣምበር መዕለቢ ክንገብረሉ ዘይከኣል እዩ። ይኹን እምበር ብወገነይ ብሕጽር ዝበለ ኣብቲ ንዓና ዘሪኢ ወይ ዘድህብ ምእንቲ ክንኣቱ ‘’ዲሞክራሲዊ ለውጢ’’ ንብል። ትሕዝትኡ እንታይ እዩ? ዲሞክራሲ ማለት ከምቲ ዝብልናዮ ስልጣን ናይ ህዝቢ ካብ ኮነ መንስግስቲ ብህዝቢ ዝቖመ ማለትና እዩ። መንግስቲ ክበሃል ከሎ ግን ኣብ ዓለምና ብዙሕ ዓይነት መንግስታት ነይሮምን ኣለዉን ንምጥቃስ፡ ንግስነት፡ ኣውቶክራሲ ስልጣን ብሓደ ሰብ ዝውነን ውልቀ መላኺ፣ ፕሉቶክራሲያዊ (Plutocracy) ሃብታማት ዝጸልውዎ ዝትከል ስርዓት (Theocracy)ካብ ሰብ ንላዕሊ ዝመጽእ ተባሂሉ ሃይማኖታዊ መንግስቲ ንኣብነት ኣብ ኢራን ዘሎ መንግስቲ ከም ንጉሳን ብእግዚኣኣብሄር ዝተመርጽኩ ዝብሉ ዝነብሩ ከም ንጉስ ሃይለስላሴ …ወዘተ። ኣሪስቶክራክሲ -መኳንንቲ ካብ ወለዶ ንወለዶ ዘውርስዎ መንግስቲ ።

ኦሊጋርኪ ብሒደት ወይ ነኣሽቱ ጉጅለ ስልጣን ዝሕዙሉ ዓይነት መንግስቲ፣ ወይ ከኣ ውሑዳት ምሁራት ኢና ዝብሉ ናይ ፈሊጥ መንግስቲ እዝኦምን ከምኡ ውን ኣልኦት ዓይነት ስልጣን ንምሓዝ ዝመሃዝ በብዓይነቱ ክንሰሚ ምኸኣልና፡ ግንከ እቲ ንዓና ዘድልየና ዘሎ ወይ ኣትኵርና ክንዛተየሉ እንደሊ ኣንጻር እዞም ዝጠቕስክዎም ስርዓታት ዲሞክራሲያዊ ስልጣን ወይ ከኣ  ስልጣን ናይ ህዝቢ ኮይኑ፣ ካብኡ ተቐቢልካ ናብ ዋንኡ ምምላስ ዝብል እዩ።

ዓይነት መንግስቲ ብብዝሒ ዝዝረበሉ ኣብ ግሪኽ ዝተጀመረ እዩ ዝበሃል፣ ግን ኣብኡ እዃ ብንጹር ይጀመር እምበር ብቕድሚኡ ኣብ ዝተፈላለየ ክፍሊ ዓለማት እውን ይፍተን ምንባሩ ይሕበር እዩ። ንኣብነት ኣብ ሜዞፖታምያ ዝነቐለ ተባሂሉ ይዝረብ እዩ። ይኹን እምበር ከም መወከሲ ኣብ ግሪኻዊት ከተማ ኣተነ  ከተማዊ ምምሕዳር ኣብ ኣደባባይ፣  ደቂ ተባዕትዮ ጥራይ ተኣኪቦም ይዛተዩን ይማጉቱን ደሓር ኣብ ውሳኔ ይበጽሑን፣ ነዚ ውሳኔ ዘመሓድሩ ይመረጹ። እዚ እውን ቀጥታዊ ዲሞክራሲ ይበሃል እምበር ዘይምሉእ እዩ ነይሩ።

ካልእ ቀጥታዊ ዝበሃል ብረፈረንዱም ህዝባዊ ውከሳ ኣብ ኣገደስቲ መሰረታውያን እርእስቲ ዝኾኑሉ ኩሉ ዜጋ ዝሳተፈሉ ማለት ህዝባዊ ወኸሳ ዝሓልፉ ኣለዉ። ንኣብነት ከም ቅዋም ክተጽድቕ ከለኻ ወይ ኣብ ቅዋም ዘሎ ሕጊ ደምሲስካ ካልእ ክተስፍር ምስ ዝድለ ንዝቢ ተወኪስካ ተቐባልነቱ ተረጋግጽ። ኣብዚ ዘለናዮ መበል 21 ክፍለ ዘመን ዘይቀጥታዊ ሓደ ዲሞክራሲኣዊ መንግስቲ ዝቐውም ብዘይቀጥታዊ ወይ ብውክልና እኻ ባይቶ ተቕውም። ካብኡ ከኣ ፈጻሚ ኣካል ይመጽእ። ናይ ፈራዲ ኣካል ግን ናቱ ኣገባብ ኣመራርጻ ኣለዎ።ርእሰ ምምሕዳር ስለዘለዎ እዚ ኮይኑ ዲሞክራሲ ወይ መንግስቲ ኣብ ዲሞክራሲ 1.ብሓጋጊ 2. ፈጻሚ ኣካል (መንግስቲ) 3. ፈራዲ ኣካላት ዝቐውም እዩ።

እዚ ዓይነት ኣጋባብ ኣሰራርሓ ዲሞክራስያዊ ስርዓት ካብ ክፍለ ዘመናት እናማዕበለ ኣብዚ ዘለናዮ እዋን ክንካፈሎ ህርድግ እንብለሉ ዘሎና ምዃኑ እዩ።

 ኣብዚ ክዝክሮ ዝደሊ እቶም ዓይነት መንግስቲ ኣቐዲመ ዝጠቅስክዎም እናወደቑን እናጠፍኡን ክኸዱ ከለዉ (ስርዓት ኢሳያስ እውን ካብ ሱሩ ተበንቍሩ ከም ዝጠፍእ እናዘከርና) ዲሞክራሲያዊ መንግስታት ግን እናበዝሓን እናጠጠዓን እየን ዝመጻ ዘለዋ።  ኣብ ዲሞክራሲያዊ መንግስታት ዝተፈላለዩ ዓይነት ኣቋውማ ዘለዎም ኣለዉ። ንምጥቃስ ዝኣክል ፡ ረፑብሊካዊ መንግስቲ ህዝባዊ ብሓጺሩ ህዝቢ ዝማእክሉ ማለት እዩ።

ከምኡ እውን ንማለቱ ንጉሳዊ መንግስቲ ተባሂሉ ግን ስልጣን ካብ ህዝቢ ዝቕበልን ናብ ህዝቢ ዝመልስን ብቅዋም ዝመሓደሩ መንግስታት እውን ኣለዉ። ከም ሃገር እንግሊዝ በልጁም፣ ሉክስምበርግ፣ ስፐይን ወዘተ…፤ካልኦት ጨናፍር ይ መልክዓት እውን ኣለዉ  ክኾኑ ይኽእሉ ተባሂሉ ዝጸሓፍ ከምኡ ዝትንተን ዓይነት ዲሞክራሲያዊ መንግስታትን ውን ኣለዉ። ንምጥቃሱ ዝኣክል፣ ሊበራል ዲሞክራሲ፣ ስሾል ዲሞክራሲ፣ ኣናርኪ ዲሞክራሲ፣ ስርዓተ ኣልቦ ወይ እትገብሮ ስለ ትፈልጥ ኣዛዝን ተኣዛዝን ዘይብሉ ኩሉ ብዘይ ጎደል ግቡእካ ምፍጻም ኢሎም ዝትርጉምዎ ኣለዉ፤ ክምኡ እውን ሕንፍሽ ፍሽ ሓላፍ ዘላፍ ዘተኣታቱ ጎዳኢ ዓይነት እውን ዝብልዎ ኣለዉ። እዚ ግን ዘካትዓና ዘይኮነስ ብዛዕባ ዲሞክራሲያዊ መንስቲ  ብዙሕ ከምዝዝተየሉን ዝጸሓፍን ንምትንባህን ንምፍላጡን እለ ዘልዕሎ እዩ። ሓንቲ ብዝሐ ውድባት  መንግስቲ ተባሂሉ ዝቐውም ከም ኮንሰንሰስ ዲሞክራሲ  ሓብራዊ ስምምዕ  ዝጥቀማሉ ኣገባብ መስርሕ ኮይኑ ሓደ እንተ ደኣ ተጻሪሩ ውሳኔ ከምዘይሓልፍ ወይ ዕድል ናይ ቨቶ ተቓውሞ እተቑመሉ እዩ። እዚ ኩሉ ጫለዳታት ዝምጽኡ ከብ ምምናው ስርዓተ ዲሞክራሲ ወይ ድኽመት ኣሰራርሓ እሎም ዝገልጽዎ ኣለዉ።

እዚ ኣብ ላዕሊ ዝጠቐስክዎ ኣብዚ ምዕቡል ሃገራት ዝዛተዩሉን ዝንየቱሉን ንምጥቃስ ካብ ኮነ ንሕና ወይ ንዓና እቲ ናይ ሓቂ ዘድልየና ክንጥቀም እንተደኣ ኮይና ክንፈልጥን ባዕልና ክንውስንን ምእንቲ ድልየትና ክነማልእን፡ ምሉእ ሓላፍነትን እኹል ፍልጠትን ምዕሩይን ብቕዓት ኣብ ምህናጽ ዲሞክራሲ ክህልወና ይግባእ።

ረብሓ ዲሞክራሲ ተቐባልነትን ኣብ ዘየድሊ ነጻግነትን ዝጠቅም ጥራይ ዘይኮነስ ነቲ ንሱ ዝውክሎ ተኣማንነትን፡ ተቖጻጻርነት ተወክሳነትን ኮታ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ሚዚናት ዘለዎ እሩም ኣሰራርሓ ካብ ዕለት ናብ ዕለት ዝምዕብል እወንታዊ ኣሰራርሓ ክንመሃሮን ክንዛተየሉ ዝግበኣና ሰፊሕን ዓብን እዩ።

ነዚ ዓይነት ኣሰራርሓ ዝቃወሙ ወይ ንዲሞክራሲያዊ ኣገባብ ዘነኣሱ ዘይቅርጥው ዝሑል ስርሑ ነዊሕ ግዜ ዘቃጽልን ንምዕባሌ ዝገትእ ቅልጡፍ ውሳኔ ዘይወስድ ከም ናይ ንግስነት ወይ ውልቀ መላኽነት ዝብሉን ኣብ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ስርዓት እቲ ስልጣን ሒዙ ዘሎ ምልኪ ክጥቀምን ተረርቲ ውሳኔታት ኣብ ርእሲ ህዝቢ ክወስድ ዝደፋፍኡ ውሑዳት ኣይኮኑን። እዚ ክመጽእ ስለዝኽእል ህዝብታት ቁሩባትን ትኩራትን ፍልጠቶም ላዕሊ ክኸውን እዩ ዝጥለብ። ሕጂ ተመሊስና ኣብ ደምበ ፍትሒ እንተርእና ብዙሓት ውድባት ናይ መንእሰያት ምንቅስቓስ፣ ሲቪላዊ ማሕበራት፣ ምንቅስቓስ ደቂ ኣንስትዮ፣ መራኸቢ ብዙሃን፣ ምህላወን ቂር ዘብል እዩ። በዚ ፍልልያት እዚ ናይ ኣወዳድባና እውን ብዙሕ ስኽፍታት ስለነሕድር እዚ እንታይ ኣድለየ ኣብ ዘብል ብዙሕ ክትዓት ነቐፈታታት ክወርድ ትሰምዕ እኻ።

 እዚ ስክፍታትት ከምዘለዎ ሃልዩ እቲ ምብዛሕ ዘይኮነስ ዲሞክራስን ዲሞክራሲያውነትን ተረዲእና ናይ ሓባር ስራሕ ከንተኣታቱ ምስ እንጅምር ኣብ ስራሕ ዝነቐለ ምትእምማን ተፈላሊኻ ዝነበርካ ኣብ ሓደ ምምጻእን ቅድም ብልፍንቲን፣ናይ ሓባር ስራሕን ናብ  ሓደ ውድብ ምብጻሕ ፣ዝተረፈ ኣብ ሓደ ጽላል ኮንካ ካብ ሒጂ ጀሚርካ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ኣሰራርሓ ምስ ተጀመረ። ንሱ ጥራይ ዘይኮነስ ነታ ክንሃንጻ እንደሊ ዲሞክራሲያዊት ሃገር ስጡም ምቅርራብ ነተኣታቱ። ስለዚ ትርጉም ዲሞክራሲ ምፍላጥ ዓንድታቱ ኣነጺርካ ምርኣይን ብሓቂ ኣገዳሲ እዩ። ስለዚ እቲ ምብዛሕ ዘይኮነስ  እቲ ሽግር ተወዲብካ እንታይ ትገብር ምስ ከማኻ ተወዲቦም ዝለዉ ብኸመይ ተዛቲኻ ብእንካን ሃባን ናይ ሓባር ስርሓን ሓደ ንኽሉ ዘጽልል ጽላል ኣብ ምህናጽ ትዋሳእ ካብ ኮነ እቲ ድሌት ብዲሞክራሲያዊ ኣገባብ ክትከይድ ስለዘለካ ንዲሞክራሲ ምፍላጡን ህንጸት ዲሞክራሲ ኣብ ኤርትራ ልዑል ተሳታፍነት ይህልወካ ማለት እዩ።

ካብዚ እቲ ትሕዝቶ ሰሚናር ሰፊሕ ብምንባሩ ግዜ ስለ ዝበልዐ ኣድሚናት ንዝለዓል ሕቶታት ኣብ ዝመጽእ  ግዜ ምስቲ ካልኣይ ክፋል ተተሓሒዙ ክሕተት ብዝብል ንካልእ መዓልቲ ተሰጋጊሩ። ኣብ ክንዲ ሕታቶት ድማ ተወሳኽን ርእይቶታትን ተኣትወ፣ እሞ ዕድል ንገዛ ተዋህበ። ካብቲ ገዛ ዝወርድ ዝነበረ ድማ እዚ ብሓቂ መሃርን ትምህርቲ ሓዘል ምንባሩ እናመስከሩ ከምዚ ዝዓይነቱ ዓውደ መጽናዕቲ ክቕጽል ተላብዮም። ምስናይዚ ኣገዳስን ጠቃምን ርእይቶታት ነቲ ኣብ ኤርትራ ክህነጽ ዘለዎ ዲሞክራሲ ኣብ ባህልና ዝተመርኮሰ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ስርዓት ክንሃንጽ ምእንቲ ባህልታትና ናይ ኣቦታት ተመኩሮ ሃገርናን ብዘይካ እዚ ገባቲ ስርዓት ዘተኣታተዎ  ውልቀ መላኽነት ዋላ ብግዜ ገዛእቲ ሕግታት እንዳ ኣባ ከም ዝነበረና ሕጋዊ ቅዋም ኣብ ፈደረሽን በቲ ሽዑ ዝነበረ ባይቶ ዝጸደቐ ይስርሓሉ ከም ዝነበረ ብምዝርዛር  እንተ ደኣ ሓቢርና፣ ነዚ ጸላኢ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ካብ ሱሩ ቦንቍርና ኣውጺእናዮ ብምቅርራብና፡ ባህልታትና ብምምርኳስን ንዓና ዝኸውን ቅዋም ክንሃንጽ ከም እንኽእል ዝብል ርእይቶታት ይፈስስ ነበረ።

በዚ መልክዕ ወይ ኣጋባብ ኣብ ሰዓቱን መደቡን፣ፓል ሓርነት፣ንዝመጽእ ቆጸራ ብምሃብን ንኹሉ ተሳታፋይ ብፍላይ ከኣ ንኹቡር ጋሻ ብምምስጋን ደምደመ።

The EPDP delegation availed itself in Bern upon a formal invitation from the Swiss capital to exchange notes with concerned organs of the Swiss Social Democratic Party as well as for updating the Swiss Federal authorities on the ever worsening situation in Eritrea.

Consisting of EPDP’s head for foreign relations, Mr. Woldeyesus Ammar, and Swiss branch leadership members Messrs. Tesfagaber Ghebre and Fitwi Kifle, the Eritrean delegation raised many hot issues that it wished to be addressed by Switzerland in close cooperation with other countries and multi-lateral organizations. The delegation also submitted memoranda: one to the SP/PS president, Mr. Christian Levrat, and in the afternoon meeting at the Foreign Ministry, to the Swiss Foreign Minister and current President of the country, Mr. Didier Burkhalter.

The meeting in the morning hours was conducted with the International Secretariat of Switzerland’s second largest party, well known by its acronyms of SP in the German and Romansh speaking cantons (Socialdemokratische Partei) and PS (Parti Socialiste; Partito Socialista) in the French and Italian speaking cantons.

In the first meeting, the EPDP delegation urged the SP/PS leadership to push the Federal Swiss Government to make active and effective involvement in helping Eritrea and its people to come out of the critical situation they are in. The Swiss party was also asked to initiate a wider discussion of the problem in Eritrea as well as the general situation in the Greater Horn of Africa region at a special meeting of the Progressive Alliance, of which both SP/PS and EPDP are members, with the aim of addressing the ongoing ‘failed state’ phenomenon.

General issues considered at both the meetings with the SP/PS and, in the afternoon session, with the Foreign Ministry included discussion on the ever worsening situation inside Eritrea; areas on which pressure should be exerted; and what joint regional and international measures could taken to improve the lot of the Eritrean refugees in the Horn of Africa region and those already in Switzerland. In particular, the EPDP delegation earnestly requested that the recently formed coordination body of Eritrean political and civil society groups in Switzerland be approached for consultation and joint work to help young Eritreans in Switzerland who have no adequate education background to fit to the new environment they are in.

Excerpts from the memorandum to the Swiss Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs can summarize the gist of the issued proposed for action at the level of Switzerland.

 

1. Exerting Pressure on the Asmara regime

  • Assist in organizing international pressure on the dictatorial regime to end the limitless “national service” it started two decades ago;
  • Allow ICRC as well as the UN Commission of Inquiry and the UN Human Rights Rapporteur for Eritrea to visit the over 300 prisons in the country where inmates are kept for many years without recourse to a court of law;

 

2.  Normalization of relations between Eritrea and Ethiopia

  • The excuse given as a stumbling block for better relations is the border problem. Both countries can, and must be advised, to show readiness for compromise.
  • In particular, there is a need of pressurizing Ethiopia through different means to accept the final and binding decision of the arbitration boundary commission

 

3. Active support for Eritrean refugees in the Horn, and in Switzerland

  • Initiate a special package project for academic and vocational education in East Sudan and North Ethiopia partly using technical development resources that several countries suspended from Eritrea due to the human rights condition there. Switzerland can lead this initiative.
  • The tens of thousands of Eritreans in Switzerland are young and without proper education. Giving special attention for their education and skill building would make them better citizens upon their possible return to Eritrea.

 

4. Assist in bringing about a positive change in Eritrea

  • The best option that could be taken by fraternal parties and governments is bringing about change in the system of governance in Eritrea where the majority of the population is opposed to the existing repressive regime.  
  • One way of doing it is through empowering Eritrean non-state actors (mainly by reaching the civil society and political movements in diaspora) through active support for capacity building.

ሓወይን ኣነን ሓንቲ ቋንቛ ኣደ ንዛረብ ። ንሳ ከኣ ትግራይት ትብሃል ።ከም ኩሎም ተዛረብቲ ትግራይት ከኣ ወለድና ዘጽንሑልና ባህሊ ስለ ዝዀነ ከኣ ንኾርዓሉን ንንየተሉን ጸኒሕናን ኣሎናን ። ካብ ኣባሃህላ ህግደፍ እንፍለየሉ ነገር እንተሎ ኩሉ ትግራይት ዝዛረብ ትግሬ ማለት ከምዘይኮነ ከኣ ንኣምን። ምክንያቱ ኩሉ እንግሊዘኛ ዝዛረብ እንግሊዛዊ ማለት ስለ ዘይኮነ። ብተወሳኺ ሓወይን ኣነን ካልኦት ሰባት ይኹኑ ወይ እውን  መንግስታዊ ትካላት ብዘይ ፍቓድና  እንታውነትና ክውስኑልና ኣይንፍቅድን። ንዝዀነ ሕብረተሰብ  ብሐይሊ እንታውነት ክዕድል ዝኽእል ሰልጣን ዘለዎ ሓይሊ የለን እልና ስለንኣምን። ኣብ ኤርትራ ካብ ዙላን ኣፍታን ጅሚርካ ክሳብ ቓሮራን እምኒሓጀርን እዚ ኩሉ መታሕት ኣውራጃ ሰንሒት ሓዊስካ ዳርጋ ዝበዝሕ ትግራይት ክሰምዕን ክዛረብን ከም ዝክእል እቶም ኣብቲ ሰውራ እተሳተፉ ምስክርነት ክህቡ ይክእሉ እዮም ።

ኣቦታትና ሓንቲ እምነት ከምዝነበረቶም ተሰኒዱ ዝጸንሓና ይኹን ብኣፋዊ ካብ ወለዶ ናብ ወለዶ እናተመሓላለፈ ዘርከብናሉ ሓቀኛ ዛንታ ኣሎና። ኣብ ከባቢ  18 ክፍለ ዘመን ጅሚሩ ግን ገለ ካብ ወለድና በቲ ኣብ ልዕሊኦም ዝፈጸም ዝነብረ  ተደጋጋሚ ወራራት መሳፍንቲ ኢትዮጵያ፡ ጽላል ይዀነና ዝበልዎ ስርዓት ግብጻውያን ብወገን ሱዳን ስለ እተቀልቀለ እምነቶም ክቕይሩ ድፊኢት ኮይኑዎም እዩ። እዚ ይኹን እምበር እቶም ዝተረፉ ነቶም እምነቶም ዝቐየሩ ኣሕዋቶም ምርጭኦም ስለ ዝዀነ መሰሎም  ከይትንከፍ ብሕውንትን ፍቅሪን እናተላዘቡ ሓወይን ኣነን እውን ኣርኪብናሎም ።

ብዝዀነ እዚ ዝጸንሔ  ባህሊ ናይ ፍቅሪን ሕውነትን መግዛእቲ እንግሊዝ ንኤርትራ ካብ ጣልያን ነጻ ኣብ ዘውጸኣሉ ካብ 1941 ጀሚሩ ኣብ መንጎ ኣመንቲ ክልቲኡ እምነታት ጽልእን ፍርሕን ዘይምትእምማን ክዘርእ ተራእዩ ። ካብዚ እተላዕለ ኣብ ገለ ገለ ከባቢታት ሓድ ሓደ ናይ ህይወት ምሕላፍ ፍጻሜታት ተራእዮም  እዮም። ኣብቲ እዋን እቲ ከምቲ ኣብ ካበሳ ዝምስረቱ ዝነበሩ ሰልፊታት ኣብ ከረን እውን ናይ ኣመንቲ ምስልምና ሰልፊ ራቢጣ ኤልእስላሚያ ዝብል እውን ተመስሪቱ እዩ ። እዚ ሰልፊ እዚ ግን ናይ ሽርክነትን ምድልዳል ጸጋታት ሃገር እንተ ዘይኮይኑ ንኤርትራ ብሃይማኖታዊ ሕጊ ከምሓድር ከምዘይነቀለ ታሪኽ ይምህረና ። እዚ ሓቂ እዚ ዝገልጽ እዚ ሎሚ ቅነ ኣብ መርበብ ዓዋተ ተሰቂሉ ዘሎ ናይቶም ክልተ ኣመንቲ  ሃይማኖታት ስእሊ ይገልጾ እዩ ።እዞም ሕጂ ዘለዉ ውድባት ግን እምነቶም ኣብ ኤርትራ ሃይማኖታዊ ስርዓት ንምትካል ከም ዝኮነ ካብ ኩሉ መግለጺታቶም ንላዕሊ መረዳእታ ምንዳይ ኣየድልን  ። እዚ ማለት ናይ ሃይማኖታዊ ኣድዮሎጂ ሓይልታት እዮም ። ብተውሳኺ ሓወይን ኣነን ኣብ ኤርትራ ፍትሓዊ ስርዓት ክምስረት እናተቓለስና እንከሎና ፣እቲ ክንምስርቶ እንደሊ ስርዓተ መንግስቲ ግን ንክልተና  ብሓባር ከምቲ ናይ ወለድና ብሰላምን ፍቅሪን ከንብረና ከምዘክእል ውሕስነት የብልናን ።

ኣነ ሊበራል ደሞክራሲ ንኤርትራ ሃገርና ዝሓሸ ስርዓት እዩ ክብል እንከሎኩ ፣ ንክልቲኣ እምነታት ብማዕረ ስሪዑ እቲ ዝግባኣ ክብርን መስልን ከውሕስ ዝክእል ምዃኑ ስለ ዝኣምን እየ። ብተወሳኪ ኩሎም ዜጋታት ብዘይ ኣፋላይ ብዋሕስና ዘለዎ ተሳተፍቲ ጸጋታት እዚ ሃገር ንምዃን ዝዕድም ኣሳታፉ ስርዓት ስለ ዝኮነ ። ሓወይ ከኣ ክገርመኩም እዛ ድሞክራሲ እትብል ቓል ብፍጹም ክሰምዓ ከምዘይደሊ ኣይሓብኣለይን ። ንሱ ክጥቀመሎም ዝደሊ እስማት ፍጥሒ ፤ ልምዓት ፣ሕውነት ፣ ዝኣመሰላ ቃላት እንተ ዘይኮይኑ ጠንቀስ እሉ ደሞክራሲ እትብል ቓል ክጥቀም ኣይደልን ። ብወገነይ ክግምት እንከሎኩ ካብ ምዕራባዊ ዓለም ዝፈለሰት ቓልዶ ኮይናቶ ? ወይ ከኣ ኣብቲ ንሱ ዝኣምና እምነት ቅብልቲ ዘይምዃና ዲዩ ? ብዝኮነ ዝገበርና እንተ ገበርና ሓወይን ኣነን ፍልልይና ክነጽብብ እሞ ኣብ ሓደ  ናይ ልፍንቲ መኣዲ ክንሳተፍ ኣይከኣልና ። ምክንያቱ ከኣ ክንተኣማመን ኣይከኣልና ። እዚ ናይ ክልተና ዘይምትእምማን ብግዜኣ ክፍታሕ ናይ ኩሉኩም ሓገዝ ከድልየና እዩ።

ሓወይ  ቅድሚ ጉዳይ ሃገር ውልቓዊ እምነቱ ብምቅዳም ኤርትራ ብንሱ ዝኣምኖ ስነ-ሓሳብ ከመሓድር ቆሪጹ ዝተላዕለ ምኳኑ ደጋጊሙ ክእምነኒ ይፍትን እዩ ። ኣነ ግን ኣብ ኩሉ ፖለትካውን ማሕበራውን ቁጠባውን ጽላታት ሃገርና ብፍትሓዊ ኣጋባብ  ሓወይ መሰሉ ክሕሉወሉ ምዃኑ ንዘቅረብኩሉ መብጸዓ  ነጺጉዎ ። ምክንያቱ ፣ ኣንጻር መለኮታዊ ተልእኮኡ ምዃኑ ኣብ ግምት ከምዘይኣቱ ብዘይ ስክፍታ ገለጹለይ። ብድሕሪ እዚ ናይ ሓወይ ናይ ቀርባ ርሑቅን መደባት ኣብ ግምት ብምእታው ናይ መጻኢ መደበይ እንታይ ከከውን ኣሎዎ እናበልኩ ኣብ ሓሳብ ኣትየ እንከሎኩ ምስ ሓወይ ተፋላሊና ።

እምበኣርከስ እቲ ዝምድና ናይ ሓወይን ናተይን ከምዚ ኣብ ላዕሊ እተጥቅሰ ካብ ኮነ ብኸመይ ደኣ ካብዚ ኣቲናዮ ዘሎና ኩዳ ብዘይ ስብራ ክንወጽእ ንክእል ዝብል ሕቶ ኩሉና ደለይቲ ፍትሒ ዝምልከት ይኽውን ። ብወገነይ ካብ ክልቲኡ እምነታት ኣብ ቅድሚ ግምባር ደው ክብሉ ዝክእሉ ሓርበኛታት ተሳኢኖም ኣለው እየ ዝብል ። እዚ ናይ ኣውራጃታት ውደባ ዓጀውጅው ናይ ዝጠፈሹ መዘናግዒ እዩ ። እቲ ቀንዲ ማሕለኻ ኣብ ዓወት ከይንብጽሕ ዓሪዱና ዘሎ እዚ ናይ ሓወይን ናተይን ኣተሓሳስባ እዩ ። እዞም  ኩሉ ግዜ ውግሔ ጽብሔ ዝፍጠሩ ዘሎው ውድባት ቅውም ነገር ክሰርሑ እልካ ምሕሳብ ዕሽነት ጥራሕ እዩ። ምኽንያቱ ሪሳይክሊን እዮም ዝገብሩ ዘለዉ ።

            ኣብ መወዳእታ

ኣብ መርበብ ዓዋተ ካብ ዘበርክቱ ኤርትራውያን ብመሓመድ ኣሕመድ ዝብሃል እተጻሕፈት ኣገዳሲት ጽሕፍቲ ኣላ ። ብመጠኑ እቲ ፍርሒ ናይ ሃይማኖታዊ ሕጊ ከምዘሎ ግን ከኣ እቶም በሃልቱ ናይ ምትግባሩ ዓቅሚ ከምዝሓጽሮም ይጠቅስ ። ብዝዀነ እቲ ናይ ሊባኖን ሚዛን እምነታት ንጥቅሚ ሓደ ወገን እናዘምበየ ይኸይድ ምህላውን ኣብ ኤርትራ እውን ክርኤ ከም ዝክእል ይሕበር‘። እዚ ሓበሬታ እዚ  ከም መጠንቀቅታ ክውስድ ይክኣል። ብሓፈሻ ግን እዚ ሰብ እዚ ካብቶም ዝሓሹ ናይ እምነታት ተጻዋርነት ይኹን ምክእኣል ስነ ሓሳብ ዘለዎ ኮይኑ ይስምዓኒ ።

ዓወት ንዲምክራስያዊ ቃልሲ

 

 

There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Eritrean people are on the path to defeating the wrong; they are on the way to achieving justice. Yes, because of the relentless fight by many brave Eritreans in the corridors of the UN and other international venues, finally the international community heard our voices and concerns, and this time they heard us right. In June of this year, the United Nations Human Rights Council established a Commission of Inquiry (COI) on Eritrea to investigate the crimes being committed against Eritrean citizens by the PFDJ regime, pursuant to or as established in the “Rome Statue of the International Criminal Court.” The “Rome Statue” is a treaty that established the International Criminal Court (ICC), which has the power to indict and convict groups/individuals/head of states believed to have committed crimes against humanity. Eritrea is a signatory to the Rome Statue of the International Criminal Court.

For the justice loving Eritrean people, the establishment of the COI is one step in our struggle towards establishing constitutional system, which among other things will enshrine both the protection and respect of human rights of Eritrean citizens in post PFDJ Eritrea. Not only is it a positive development in the struggle against the PFDJ regime, but also it opens a new front that would enable Eritrean Diaspora opposition to garner international support.

Without delving into the legal aspect of the COI, it should be realized that this investigation of crime against humanity is not an easy endeavor. But first is first: we must expose the human rights violation denialists of the PFDJ, with their continued deception and double talk, and the rest of their conspiracy theorists who believe human rights violations and abuses in Eritrea are simply western ploys to undermine Eritrea or to effect regime change in Eritrea. These are the PFDJ elites who have utterly failed on their intellectual and moral duty to defend the truth; intellectuals who failed to serve their own people with honesty and fidelity. And we know these PFDJ enablers will continue to sabotage any and all efforts that they think will bring justice and democracy to Eritrea. And this is the greatest crimes they are committing on their own citizens. Therefore, this is one front we must challenge during the investigation of the COI.

Second, it is clear that the formation of the COI is a big blow to the body politics of the PFDJ regime. And the opposition must capitalize on it, and that it should view the COI as a boost that will potentially help Eritrean people in their struggle to uproot dictatorship on one hand and an opportunity for the opposition to recast itself in the eyes of the Eritrean people on the other. One might even say we are halfway through to put the rope around the neck of the dictator and his cohorts, but this only becomes reality if we work more effectively and jointly than ever, and meticulously chart out a strategy on how to assist the COI.

Third, believing in its usual political ploy, which is making and remaking of falsehoods, PFDJwill continue to raise the national security, foreign enemies...etc in an effort to thwart the work of the COI even though we know the core problem of the country lies with the dictator. In the Diaspora, it will instruct its rogue elites to campaign and attack the COI as a threat to Eritrea. Inside the country, we will see PFDJ’s TV station and networks feeding a carefully crafted lies to the public about the COI. The aim is simply to cement a message that PFDJ believes resonates with the Eritrean people, and that is to show that the COI is against Eritrea’s sovereignty and independence, which we know is false. But the PFDJ will push on twisting facts in order to survive. Not only is PFDJ going to distort facts and plunge itself in its usual gross misrepresentation, but also it will brand all its victims as well as those who witnessed its crimes as criminals and money-grubbing souls in order to shift the debate, muzzle the innocent, and in the process stifle the work of the COI. But time is different now because the center of gravity in Eritrea is shifting to the opposition. PFDJ may not see it but the legitimacy once it had commanded is on the path of extinction.

EPDP strongly values the weight and contribution of the COI. But in the end, it is up to the opposition to make the job of the COI successful. Hence, our primary function must be to encourage victims and witnesses to come forward and testify in front of the COI. All said, however, the opposition must recognize the fear of victims and the possible reprisal against their family members back home by the PFDJ as a result of their testimony. This is the main element that the opposition in general and those Eritreans working closely with the COI in particular should address. Nevertheless, we must push that the victims have the duty to testify because it was during exercising their rights and their freedoms as citizens that they became victims of injustice like hundreds and thousands of Eritreans, and that they were imprisoned and tortured, and that they were forced to leave their country. For them, testifying would be the most historic national duty they have ever done to the country of 5 million people who are dying under the yoke of an absolute tyranny. Not testifying is not an option. The victims and witnesses know more than anybody else that Issais is not only a dictator, but a mad man and he needs to be stopped before he turns Eritrea into an uninhabitable and barren land. Again the point is that, the opposition must tighten its belt in assisting the COI. Meaning now is the time to act, and that we in the opposition must bear the onus of demonstrating the knowledge and responsibility of networking and assisting the COI in its tasks for which it is mandated to carry out – holding Issais regime accountable on the crimes it committed against the Eritrean people – that is crime against humanity. This is not the time to duck our heads.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Eritrean people are on the path to defeating the wrong; they are on the way to achieving justice. Yes, because of the relentless fight by many brave Eritreans in the corridors of the UN and other international venues, finally the international community heard our voices and concerns, and this time they heard us right. In June of this year, the United Nations Human Rights Council established a Commission of Inquiry (COI) on Eritrea to investigate the crimes being committed against Eritrean citizens by the PFDJ regime, pursuant to or as established in the “Rome Statue of the International Criminal Court.” The “Rome Statue” is a treaty that established the International Criminal Court (ICC), which has the power to indict and convict groups/individuals/head of states believed to have committed crimes against humanity. Eritrea is a signatory to the Rome Statue of the International Criminal Court.

For the justice loving Eritrean people, the establishment of the COI is one step in our struggle towards establishing constitutional system, which among other things will enshrine both the protection and respect of human rights of Eritrean citizens in post PFDJ Eritrea. Not only is it a positive development in the struggle against the PFDJ regime, but also it opens a new front that would enable Eritrean Diaspora opposition to garner international support.
