On 3 November 2015, the Swedish Prime Minister, Mr. Stefan Loefven, visited the social integration enter in Gutenberg to encourage effective assistance to new refugees who include many Eritreans.

Mr. Loefven commended the support activities being undertaken by the center and pledged that the Swedish government will continue the special attention and care deserved by refugees from Syria and Eritrea.

It is to be recalled that this same center organized a successful public awareness seminar on 23 October 2015 at which key presenters were Eritrean journalist Meron Estefanos, Mr. Rezene Tesfazion, Executive Committee member in the Eritrean People's Democratic Party (EPDP), and two young Eritreans who witnessed what they encountered on their hazardous journey from Eritrea to Europe. The seminar was entitled "Eritrea in Our Hearts".
